Derived from the ancient city of
Benares, these malas retain for years the pure and
lovely sandalwood fragrance. When the Buddhist
teachings flourished in India, meditators would retreat
to the cool sandalwood groves during the heat of the
summer. These beads are the natural, light shade of
sandalwood with a soft polish. Restrung and finished
with a cotton tassel.
